Our First Donation Drive ~ SUPPORT OUR TROOPS

My first donation drive is going to be to Support our Troops.  I would like to put together as many care packages as possible and ship them to our troops overseas in Iraq and Afganistan.   If you know of someone that would like to receive a care package, please email us at:  dedicateddonationdrives@yahoo.com. 

If you would like to help, please let me know, as I could use all the help as possible in organizing a very successful first drive.  

Lets get the word out there!  Lets find a place to hold the drive!  Lets find sponsors and supporters! 

Once the basics of the drive are in place, I will update the blog!

My First Post ~ Lets start making a difference!

Ok Everyone! Here is the deal:

I am a stay at home Mom and I've decided I want to get involved in helping our community. I want to help out in as many ways as possible! I want to organize Donation Drives for all walks of life. It will take some work and definitely help from others, but we can make a difference and we can put a smile on someones face. That is my ultimate goal.


I want to share gift giving and volunteering with my children. I want them to experience helping others and the joy it brings.


I was laying in bed the other night, when it came to me that catastrophe strikes in so many different ways. It may be global, local, or community catastrophe. Then again, it may just be catastrophe in one persons life. This is the catastrophe that can be devestating to a person or a family, but we don't hear about these things everyday on the news or the internet. Each and everyone of us endures challenges and catastrophe in life, much of which is unexpected and we have to deal with as best as we can. I want to help as many people as possible. We can make a huge difference! Community donation drives for all walks of life!


I would like to start by organizing at least one donation drive a month. Hopefully we can increase that number in the future. If you would like to help, please let me know.
